Guiame en la ruta (guide me on the route/ guide my way)
Only just a little bit obsessed with all that’s kitsch and Catholic in SA. It started with noticing the plastic flowers and shrines by the roadsides, the virgin mary’s in glass boxes everywhere, the virgin of the guadelupe in Sucre Bolivia, the Cathedral in Cusco…anything that has glitter and casing and shrines.

quedervish asked: your photos are amazing.. I can't wait until I can return to colombia. safe travels :)

thank you! I want to go back there now too. Amazing place.

Here’s the map of my full journey borrowed from my good friend Marie who did the same thing. I loved it. But I’m home now and this is what I dreaded, being home with all that behind me, but its not so bad, looking back it was just all so bloody amazing.
I got to do my own thing for six months, find my own way, stop worrying about the kind of shit that city life makes you preoccupy yourself with. I saw amazing south america, learnt spanish, met some lovely people (and get a little bit fatter). Too much to explain in a note here, its all in my head. its in my pictures. Sometimes it pours out sometimes just a little.
I hope have enjoyed looking at the pictures on my blog! Stay tuned as there may well be more.
